This is an invitation to grow through purposely thinking about scripture.
Luke 2:8-14
The coming of Jesus as a baby brought the slaughter of many children, as well as the persecution and killing of His followers throughout the ages.
"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Matthew 10:34
Yet, the angels rejoiced like no other time recorded in the scriptures up to that point.
Life is hard, and walking with Jesus can make it even harder.
Why were the angels rejoicing?
What makes Jesus worth rejoicing over in your life?
What obstacles are in the way of your joy?
What promises does the Bible give us to overcome those obstacles?
